In Eastern psychology, feelings are considered to be associated with the physiological organs, and emotions are clearly seen as feelings and their effects on the mind when it gives different meaning to such feelings.According to the Orientals, we have seven important centers in the body – the chakras – where the feelings are perceived. Over the centuries, however, although the concept of the chakras has found many empirical confirmations in spiritual disciplines, there has not been much theoretical understanding.
