Human potential
Humans have enormous potential, ranging from the worst imaginable to the most sublime. The problem is that, for the most part, we remain stuck at a point below the average of this scale. We let ourselves be controlled by petty motivations, such as greed and anger, and we hurt ourselves and others. Sometimes this is a consequence of poor choices made throughout life. Most people, however, would rarely choose to do wrong things or hurt their neighbor.

Objectives of psychoanalysis
Surprising as it may be, it’s hard for me to take part in this exhumation of painful emotions and memories already buried. Those who live their life with meaning, who, exercising their discernment by means of intelligence, make their life a personal and singular project, live their existence with enthusiasm, which does not mean that they do not experience disappointments and setbacks of all kinds; but as long as he realizes that what he does makes sense, he does not lack enthusiasm.
