Anger is an immediate feeling. It is when you immediately react to something that upsets you, without thinking about what might have happened to cause it, and without consciousness. Once again it is the conscience at stake. If you can turn an immediate bad emotion into a conscious thing, you can avoid the feeling of anger. Because there are always facts beyond those we see. It takes a few seconds for the brain to think about it before it raises. I think, I reflect, I understand what lies behind what would cause me immediate anger, and I hope, I ponder, I remain calm to analyze the problem.
Hate and anger come from your realization that you can not deal with anger. So you get angry at others and at yourself for always reacting in that immediate and aggressive way. With this, a bad feeling that turns into hate accumulates.
Anger arises, therefore, by the lack of condition to work the mind in enlightenment and in a patient way. And those who teach us to work this virtue are the Orientals. They know better than anyone how to find the most inner information of our mind. They are created to meditate, to attain full happiness, to have patience. A healthy mind free of cholera is capable of transforming negative experiences, which could be filled with anger, into positive and peaceful attitudes.
