Of all the violence we suffer, the ones we commit most often are those we commit against ourselves.
In this violence, this cruelty, no blood is shed, but pain is poured and with that build walls, and attitudes limit that suffocate us inside.
Limiting attitudes are ceaseless hammers in our souls and undoubtedly the most disguised of all aggressions. It is adorned with false virtues, applause from people and yet it continues to internally delimit and brutally crush our soul.
Some people always seek the admiration and acceptance of others in an incessant attempt to silence the limiting attitudes that also silence their souls. They seek constant praise, collect obsequious bows and titles, smiles and yet do not know the price they pay for it. They live far from themselves.
Self-cruelty can only be fought with self-love and the inner declaration that must be done differently from what it has always done, so that it is respected for what it is and not for the mirror that is carried.
The soul can be rather the most sincere reflection of who we are.
Be. Just be.
