Criticism is absolutely necessary for us to evolve. Criticism comes from crisis, and if you know that the crisis drives you into the future, you understand that criticism is a great thing for you.
People confuse criticism with evil. He has an art critic, for example, who is not critical, is evil. It is there to speak ill of others and not to observe something and talk about it. And in life that’s how it is. There are people who come to us to harm us. These do not criticize but destroy. They are bad, uneducated, cruel people. This evil is not critical.
I find the criticism always sensational. If someone asks me if I could criticize my work, I say yes, of course, and thank you very much. Because if that person wants to criticize something that I did, it’s a sign that she saw, read, paid attention, wants to help me improve. And it may perhaps lead me on a much more valuable path. It is someone who is being my friend.
The best criticism in the world is the mother. When she calls you attention, since childhood, it is not just anger or prohibition. Usually your mother is criticizing something you did that was not so good. And that criticism wants to make you correct that, or think better before you do it again, you want to improve your life.
